Hyderabad police annual sports meet begins

The Hyderabad police annual sports meet has been inaugurated by state principal secretary (finance) K Ramakrishna Rao at Shiv Kumar Lal Police Stadium in Goshamahal here on Wednesday.

Around 800 policemen will be taking part in the three-day programme which includes events like athletics, football, volleyball, handball, basketball, hockey, kabaddi, badminton, judo, wrestling, boxing, gymnastics, lawn tennis and weightlifting.

The sports meet will end on Friday.
