Narrow escape for passengers after RTC bus-lorry collide in Khammam

 Around 20 passengers in the TSRTC bus had a narrow escape after the bus collided with a lorry at Konijerla in Khammam district on Thursday.

The mishap took place at Konijerla Sagar canal area when the bus belonging to Madhira depot collided the lorry coming in the opposite direction following which the bus tumbled on to its left. Of the 20, four passengers were injured seriously and others sustained minor injuries. They were shifted to a hospital for treatment. 

Passersby came to the rescue of the passengers and pulled them out from the bus.
