Techie in race for gram panchayat polls in Telangana

 Rajendar, a software engineer in Bengaluru left his job and travelled back to his home in Muthol village of Nirmal district to contest in Gram Panchayat elections in the state. With an aim to turn Muthol as an ideal village, he is contesting in the polls, said Rajendar.

On the other hand, a few graduates from Jagitial are in the race for the elections. Ramya, an MSc graduate and Sujatha who has done B.Ed and MSc are contesting for the sarpanch post in Vengalapur of Gollapalli mandal.
