National flag torn at Osmania University

  The tricolour national flag was insulted at Osmania University after a torn flag unfurled at the arts college in varsity. Noticing the torn flag, students at the varsity fumed over the college staff and expressed distress over the functionary of the management. They also demanded to replace the flag immediately.

After replacing the flag, the OU arts college professor and vice-chancellor S Ramachandran apologized for it and explained that the flag was torn while being hoisted after it got stuck in the iron pole due to the heavy wind.
