Food Commission holds State Level DGROs meeting

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Food Commission held its 3rd State Level DGRO meeting here on Tuesday. 

The District Grievance Redressal Officers from various districts were present for this meeting. Civil Supplies Commissioner Akun Sabharwal, together with the Chairman, K. Thirmal Reddy and members V. Anand, B. Sangulal, K. Goverdhan Reddy, R. Sharada and M. Bharathi were also present at the meeting and shared the views. Further, certain suggestions were given on the vital role to be played by the DGROs at their districts on the redressal of the grievance mechanism system on the National Food Security Act by the beneficiary. 

The Commissioner shared the views in the meeting on the proposal of launching of an 'app' for the Telangana State Food Commission.
