Hot summer forces leopard to find peace on a coconut tree in Somanathapura village

Highlights: The height of the coconut tree is almost close to 35 feet.

MANDYA: On Thursday morning in Somanathapura village a leopard was found which was stuck in a coconut tree. Fortunately, the area was under the jurisdiction of the KR Pet rural police limits.

According to what the residents of the area have said, the height of the coconut tree is almost close to 35 feet and the leopard seems to have climbed the tree casually.

However, the authorities of the forest department are currently struggling to free the leopard and bring it down from the tree.
