Bus catches fire after road accident in Tamil Nadu, 5 burnt alive

Five people were burnt alive after the private bus they were travelling in caught fire before colliding with a lorry in the wee hours on Friday.

The bus with 17 people on-board collided with a lorry at Ullandurpet of Villupuram and was caught on fire. People inside the bus who were alerted about the accident escaped from the fire while five others burnt alive. 

The firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. The police registered a case and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
