AP paddlers impress

Hyderabad: In a tournament that has seen players from Andhra Pradesh coming up with impressive wins, the Under-14 boys team championship pits Little Angel School, Visakhapatnam, against the city-based Chirec Public School following their fluent semifinals wins in the CBSE Cluster VII table tennis tournament at Meridian School  in Kukatpally on Sunday.

Results: All semifinals- Under-14 boys team event: Little Angel School, Visakhapatnam bt BVB Public School, Jubilee Hills 3-0; Chirec Public School, Hyderabad, bt NS St Mathews, Vijayawada 3-1; 

Under-17 Boys team: Akshara School, Kakinada bt Dr KKR Happy Valley School 3-0; Meridian School, Madhapur bt Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Jubilee hills 3-1; 

Under-19 Boys team: Akshara School, Kakinada bt DPS, Khajaguda 3-0; BVB, Jubilee Hills, bt Obul Reddy School 3-1; 

Under-14 girls team: Hindu Public School bt Akshara School, Kakinada 3-0; Chirec Public School bt Geetanjali Devashray 3-2; 

Under-17 girls team: Gitanjali Devashray bt Hindu Public School 3-0; Little Woods School, Kakinada bt Meridian, Banjara Hills 3-1; 

Under-17 girls individual: Priyanshi S (APS, Secunderabad) bt D Manasvi (Little Angels, Vizag)  11-7, 12-10, 11-7; Bhaavitha (Geetanjali Devashray) bt M Deepthi (Little Woods, Kakinada) 11-7, 14-12, 11-9.
