Adilabad records temperature of 6 degrees, severe cold warning issued
The Indian Meteorological Department have issued a severe cold wave warning for the next three days in Adilabad and Khammam as the mercury levels are likely to decrease significantly in the region.
A severe cold warning is issued when the mercury levels plummet by five to seven degree Celsius in the minimum temperature range.
Adilabad recorded a minimum temperature of six degrees Celsius on Thursday with a seven-degree drop in 24 hours whereas Khammam recorded a minimum temperature of six degree Celsius with a significant drop from 14 degree Celsius.
As for the Hyderabad forecast, the mercury level is expected to rise from January 7 and warm weather conditions are likely to continue with the minimum temperature standing at 15 degree Celsius and maximum temperature at 29.3 degree Celsius till January 10.
