Two killed, two others injured in head-on collision

Two people were killed in a head-on car collision in Medak district on Saturday. 

Two others sustained injuries in the mishap that occurred when the cars they were traveling collided near Kasulapur village. The injured were rushed to the hospital and are cuttingly undergoing treatment.

In another accident, the passengers in a car had a miraculous escape when their vehicle went up in flames in Suryapet district.

According to the police, flames erupted from the engine of the car due to some technical snag and the occupants noticing the fire, jumped out of the car near Thirumalgiri on National Highway.

The car was heading from Hyderabad to Vijayawada when the incident took place.
