Youth duped in the name of Metro railway jobs in Hyderabad

Touts duped job aspirants to a tune of Rs 2 crore by promising them jobs in the Hyderabad Metro rail. According to the Ameerpet police, Asian Brite Careers, a film strategically located close to the Metro Interchange Station in Ameerpet, promised them jobs as ticket booking clerk, track in charge, associate manager, integrated assistant manager and other posts.

They collected sums ranging between Rs 50000 to Rs 2 lakh from the aspirants. They even conducted two-step interview in Delhi and other places and issued appointment letters.

However, the youth were turned away by the Metro Rail authorities saying the letters were fake. By the time they reverted to the job recruitment company, the company and the employees simple vanished. As many as 100 persons were duped.

 The police are on the lookout for Ravichandra aka Ravi Varma, Ashalatha aka Amrutha, Vijetha Reddy and Anitha Reddy, who duped the gullible youths.
