Release white paper on SC welfare: MLA

Nellore: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and city MLA Dr Anil Kumar Yadav dared the TD government to release white paper on the development works meant for the Dalit population across the state.

He addressed the media here on Monday and said the ruling party has been claiming as if they were saviours of Dalits and demanded to release a white paper explaining to the people of the state what they had really did for them in the last four years.  

He said Dalit population were benefitted only during former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s regime and now the ruling party is shedding crocodile tears on them keeping the elections in mind.

The Chief Minister made adverse comments against the Dalits on several occasions earlier and still saying they had strived for their welfare, the legislator criticised. He said the state government is not giving any practical sops to the industrial organisations. The legislator said they will contest in the elections alone and situation of the ruling TDP is different as they cannot contest independently.
