Hyderabad : Expressing unhappiness over the performance of State unit leaders, BJP National President Amit Shah directed them to adopt an aggressive approach to strengthening the party and win next elections in Telangana.

Amit Shah, during his day-long visit to Hyderabad on Friday, held a series of meetings with BJP leaders and workers, RSS functionaries and other organisations. He reportedly slammed the State unit leaders for not establishing a proper coordination with RSS, Bajrang Dal and other saffron organisations. He directed them to maintain proper coordination with those organisations to strengthen the party's organisation across Telangana.

Amit Shah was also angry at State leadership for not completing the process of formation of booth level committees. He reportedly pointed out that only 12 out of 29 guidelines given by the party were followed. He directed them to include five members having a smart phone and bike in the booth level committees. He warned the leaders against pursuing personal agendas and asked them to strictly follow the party's guidelines.

Meanwhile, Telangana BJP General Secretaries Samba Murthy and Paramanand Reddy informed media persons that Amit Shah had addressed five meetings during his visit. He suggested that three incharges be appointed for each Parliamentary constituency. He also asked the party cadre to take up campaigns on various schemes being implemented by the BJP's Central Government.
