Mentor's Day-2018 celebrated

Ramagundam: Mentor's Day-2018 was celebrated at NTPC-Ramagundam on Wednesday on the occasion of Teacher’s Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. 

Speaking on the occasion, Ravindra, ED-Ramagundam, highlighted the significance of Guru-Sishya Parampara (mentor-pupil tradition) and NTPC’s thrust on being a learning organisation. 

The programme featured presentation on mentoring, slogan competitions, suggestion mela for effective mentoring, debate competition on mentoring (PowerPoint presentations). Earlier, Head of HR M S Ramesh welcomed the dignitaries and spoke in details on Mentor’s Day. 

Arvind Kumar Jain, GM (O&M), Shri Mathew Varghees, GM (FM); Dr Sasmita Dash, CMO; Rama Rao B, GM (F&A), P K Laad, GM (TS), Soumendra Das, GM (Maintenance), Bishnu Charan Polai, GM (Operation), Umakant Haribhau Gokhe, GM (C&M); NTPC senior officials, office-bearers of unions and associations and others were present in large numbers.
