Update: 2018-09-08 05:30 IST

Qutbullapur: Former Congress MLA Kuna Srisailam Goud claimed here on Friday that the TRS government has cheated the people by not honouring the party’s election promises and left them in the lurch opting for advanced Assembly elections.

Addressing a meeting of the party workers in Shapurnagar, Goud contended that the KCR government opted for elections unable to implement its poll promises. He called upon the party activists to be ready for elections, which could be held any time. The ex-MLA advised the activists to take the responsibility of ensuring that everyone’s vote on the list is intact. ‘You should work with the sole motive of regaining the Qutbullapur Assembly seat’, Goud told the activists. After many leaders and activists expressed their views, he stated that their suggestions and  views would be considered before deciding on contesting the election.
