Call election special desk for queries

Karimnagar: District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed appealed the people to call Election Special Desk (Phone: 0878-2234371) to know whether their name is listed in the voter list or not. 

He paid a surprise visit to the Election Special Desk here on Sunday and attended a few phone calls from the public. Speaking on the occasion, he said that those, whose names are not mentioned in the voter list, should fill Form-6 available at booth-level officer, Tahsildar or RDO office and submit one passport size photo and xerox copy of identity card.
 
People can also register their names through online website - ceotelangana.nic.in, he suggested. People should submit Form 7 to delete their name from the list and Form 8 to make changes in the entries, he added. 

If the voter wants to shift from polling centre to another in the same Assembly constituency, they have to submit Form 8A.

The Collector informed that September 25 is the last date for both registering names or changes in the names in the voter list.
