Gandhi statue lies in dilapidated condition

Malkajgiri: Mahatma Gandhi statue in Gandhi Park in Malkajgiri is in a dilapidated condition. Locals blame the corporator and people’s representatives for not taking care of the park. 

Satyanarayana, a daily visitor to the park, said that these representatives show up only on Gandhi Jayanthi and Gandhi Vardanthi days. The residents and regular visitors of the park urge officials to take steps in repairing the statue.
