JC Nikhila Reddy inspects Narayankhed agri market yard

​Narayankhed: Joint Collector Nikhila Reddy made a sudden inspection of agriculture market yard here on Tuesday. In view of serious allegations regarding purchase of green gram, she visited the yard and inspected the files. On knowing that the Joint Collector was at the yard, many farmers staged protest before the office. 

They complained that the staff members of the market yard were taking produce only from those farmers who offer bribe. They alleged that their produce was being rejected based on the lame excuses. They also charged that market yard was buying the produce only from brokers and not from local farmers. Markfed GM Jyothi, market chairman Suvarna Shetkar, vice chairman Bhasith, and secretary Prabhudas were present.
