Singareni celebrates Bathukamma

Kothagudem: The SCCL employees celebrated the Bathukamma festival at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The women employees and wives of officers eagerly participated in the celebration programme. The women sang songs and the danced with enthusiasm. 

The programme was inaugurated by Executive Director (Coal) B Kishan Rao, and General Manager (Co-Ordination) Anthony Raja. Addressing the gathering, they said the Bathukamma festival is being celebrated in all areas of the Singareni at a grand level as the company gives much importance to the festival.

On that occasion, the noted poet of Singareni G JayaRaju was felicitated by the officers. Poet Jayaraju explained the in his way why the Bathukamma festival is being celebrated and what is importance of the festival.

General Manger (Security) TPA Pream Kumar, CMO AI General Secretary Rajshekar, Administration Manager B Bhasker, PRO Mahesh and all the employees participated in the programme.
