Stern action if votes sought in name of caste, religion

Vikarabad: District Collector Syed Omer Jaleel on Wednesday said that they had started distribution of voter slips through BLOs and booth level agents, while addressing an all-party meeting here at secretariat. He advised the representatives of the parties to appoint the agents as early as possible. He warned that those who canvassed in the name of caste and community could be disqualified, citing a Supreme Court verdict in this regard.
