They also complained on the damage of playing equipment, due to which children were unable to play in the park premises. As there are no lights, the morning and evening walkers avoided the park in fear of chain snatchers. Despite lodging innumerable complaints to the officials nothing has materialised, they lamented.

One of the colony residents, Sudugu Mahender Reddy said that the park which was meant for 15 colonies, has been serving 100 to 300 visitors daily. He complained that people were facing problems as there were no basic facilities. Mahender said that lights were not working for the past 20 days and visitors feared robbery and chain snatching in the park. He said that damaged electric pole and fuse box without cover posed threat to the people, especially for children. He demanded the officials to set right the things and arrange basic facilities in the park.
