Booking for public places goes online in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) Metropolitan Commissioner Janardhan Reddy launched online booking system for various venues here on Friday. People can now book slots online for various venues like People’s Plaza, HMDA Grounds, Party Zone, Necklace Road, Sanjeevaiah Park for organizing their programmes and for movie shootings at Sanjeevaiah Park, Lumbini Park and Necklace Road. 

HMDA developed an online booking system for the convenience of citizens. The payments can be done through online by credit, debit cards or net banking. Citizens can check availability status and book their slots. HMDA website (hmda.gov.in) provides link to the system. The HMDA is going to soon launch online booking facility for booking tickets for the entry of Lumbini Park, NTR Gardens and Sanjeevaiah Park and a common ticket for all parks as well.

Harinath Reddy, OSD-BPP guided the development of the application and IT Cell-HMDA coordinated the project. The application was developed by Srshta Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd. K Amarendra Reddy, CEO of the company, attended the inaugural ceremony.
