Update: 2019-01-17 05:30 IST

Kapra: Officials who were putting all their efforts to achieve top rank to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in Swachh Survekshan-2019 seem to be negligent in disposing of piles of garbage in every nook and corner in Kapra circle.

Though they were busy creating awareness on segregation of waste into dry and wet,  by touring along with public representatives, people are worrying about outbreak of health problems due to garbage on the roads.

Especially, the residents of Jai Kisan Colony, Sailok Colony and Jammigadda are severely suffering from this grave problem. They lamented that they complained many times to officials concerned but the sanitation staff were not available to dispose it.

Dogs, pigs settle in the garbage scattered on the roads, and people are unable to move on them in completing their daily work. They blamed the officials for not arranging garbage bins on the roads.

Apart from this, the sanitation staff removing the waste once in five days instead of every day, they lamented. The residents urged the officials concerned to solve the problem at the earliest.
