4 treasure hunters held

Vikarabad: Police arrested four persons, who were engaged in digging fields for treasures, at Mominpet on Thursday.

Briefing the details to media, DSP Shirisha said that accused were planning to sell an idol of Hindu Goddess and eight coins which they found during their treasure hunt, to one Bandari Ramesh.
 
She added that they inspected the place and sent the recovered items to the Archeology department for further investigation. The other person who is at large will be arrested soon, she said.
