Kanajiguda to get new road

Kanajiguda:The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has initiated the laying works of the new road from Durga furniture to Petrol Pump at Kanajiguda, Alwal, will be about 1 km long.Virat Datta, executive engineer at GHMC in Alwal, circle -16, said that Kanajiguda would have a well-developed road. The project will begin on the 3rd week of February and will be completed within two months.

But before that, the pending works like repairing the water pipeline, upgrading the drainage system or any underground electric line are under process”.Datta said that the total estimated cost for the project is around 80 lakh. The upcoming new road in the area will be a great benefit for the commuters and locals to reach their destinations safely. It will also help the locals to have a convenient and smooth drive.

The road is accessible to the main city Secunderabad Station via Dubai Gate, Bowenpally Monda Market, Diamond Point and Jubilee Bus Stand.  This will bring a great relief to the pedestrians, as they can walk freely without any hassles. Locals are a happy lot as there is considerable amount of traffic and many commercial establishments-Kajaria, Military Dairy Farm, St Andrews School, Hi-tech Modern School, college, conventional halls and new commercial complexes are coming up.
