CCTV footage helps police nab thieves

  Siddipet: DSP Sridhar Reddy said that CCTV cameras helped them to nab thieves. Presenting the lorry thieves before the media at Pothireddypalli rural police station on Thursday, the DSP advised businessmen to install CCTV cameras. He said they recovered Rs 5,95,000 from their possession.
The DSP said they expedited investigation after they received complaint from a lorry owner Bashid. 
It was learned that the accused lifted the lorry when it was parked on road side and sold it to a mechanic after changing the number plate.
CI Shiva Kumar, Sis Venkatesh Dasharath, Ramesh, Raju and others were present.
