Hackathon winners presented cash prize

   Kukatpally: A team of students from CSE department of JNTUH College of Engineering won the 24- hour - Hackathon on ‘Smart Rice’ organised by Indian Institute of Rice Research (ICAR) on February 9 and 10. Under the guidance of Dr KP Supreeth, team members Sayyad Alimuddin, J Yathender, KN Deepika and K Srilekha submitted the best invention. JNTUH joint director Dr SR Somu, director SR Voleti presented a cash prize of Rs 20,000 to the winners on Thursday on the occasion of National Science Day. JNTUH College of Engineering principal Dr E Saibabu Reddy, Head of the CSE department Dr R Sri Devi were present.
