Rally calls for women empowerment

 Pedda Amberpet: Seeking women empowerment in all fields, the leaders of the Centre of Indian Trade Union (CITU) and Students Federation of India (SFI) organised a rally here on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Friday. CITU district leader E Narasimha, Praja Sanghala convener A Mahesh and women association leader V Ramadevi led the rally. Addressing the gathering, they alleged that both the Centre and the State governments failed to stop harassment and atrocities against women. They demanded special facilities to women workers at factories and offices.
