NITW & SREC teams reach semi-finals

Warangal: The teams of NIT Warangal and SR Engineering College (SREC), Warangal have reached semi-finals in 16th SR Champions Trophy-2018, South Indian Inter Engineering Collegiate (T-20) Cricket Tournament. The teams from SRM University, Chennai and CBIT, Hyderabad have also reached semi-finals in the tournament being hosted by the SREC, said a release from the organisers here on Sunday.

NIT Warangal team has beaten SMVIT, Pondicherry team, while SR Engineering College beaten Thirumala Engineering College, Hyderabad team to reach the semi-finals.

Similarly, SRM University team has beaten the team of Malla Reddy Engineering College, Hyderabad and CBIT, Hyderabad team has beaten Srinidhi ITS, Ghatkesar team to reach semi-final stage. Semi-final matches would be held conducted on Monday. The finals would take place on Tuesday followed by the tournament closing ceremony and prize distribution, the release added.
