Book on Impact of Globalisation on Higher Education Released

Hanamkonda: A book titled ‘Impact of Globalisation on Higher Education in India’ has been released by Kakatiya University vice-chancellor Prof R Sayanna.   He released the book at his chambers here on Tuesday. 

The All India University Employees Confederation (AIUEC) vice-president Pulla Srinivas is the editor of the book. It is a compilation of articles presented at the AIUEC conference held at Kakatiya University sometime back.

Pragma Publications of Hyderabad is the publisher. Speaking after releasing the book, Prof Sayanna said it is a good attempt to expose the impact of globalisation on higher education, which is a current issue of concern. He appreciated the editor’s endeavour in bringing out the conference proceedings in the form of a book ensuring extensive access to readers.  

The KU Registrar Prof K Purushotham, Prof S Srininath, Gade Pani, P Kondal Reddy, the university public relations officer V Krishnama Charya, Kola Shankar and others took part in the book release event.
