Awareness programme on sunstroke symptoms and precautions held in Ramagundam

Ramagundam: Take precautions and know the symptoms of sunstroke to minimise any casualties during the scorching summer, the Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories, Karimnagar, M Praveen Kumar suggested the workers at an “Awareness Programme on Sunstroke Symptoms and Precautions”.

The programme was organised by NTPC-Ramagundam in association with Factories Department, Government of Telangana here on Monday. Echoing similar view, Y Srividya, the Inspector of Factories, Karimnagar, asked the employees and contract workers to be more alert, particularly those, who are exposed to sunlight during summer.

Further, pamphlets and posters on the subject were distributed among employees and contract workers to create awareness. During this occasion, factories officials also had a meeting with senior officials of NTPC to review the preparedness on sunstroke issues.

GM (O&M) Ravindra, GM (Maintenance) AK Jain, GM (F&M) Mathew Vargheese, GM (Operation) DSGSS Babji and officials from Safety Department were present on the occasion.
