TSRTC Officers Association condemns attack on executive director

​Hanamkonda: Telangana State RTC Officers Association Warangal unit office bearers staged a black badge demonstration here on Thursday, protesting against the reported attack on Greater Hyderabad RTC Zone Executive Director Purushotham.

Speaking on the occasion, the association secretary G Ramulu said three RTC drivers have physically attacked the Executive Director when he was working in his office in Hyderabad on Thursday. The attack was unwarranted and the association strongly condemns the incident, he said.

Executive Director Purushotham has been known as a good officer and helped many drivers. But some drivers, who failed to get posting at their desired depot, developed grudge against him and assaulted him, Ramulu said.
