Neelima Pudota became the first woman from Andhra Pradesh who attempted to climb the Mount Everest in May 2016. She recently released her book ‘Everest, With Love’, in Hyderabad. 

The book was launched by Mithali Raj, the captain of Indian women’s cricket team. The book Launch was followed by a panel discussion moderated by author and columnist Sriram Karri.

The discussion gave insights into the struggles, challenges and mindset of sportswomen, role of the media and government in making Hyderabad a home for some of India's top sportswomen and the support women get to pursue sports in India. 

Talking about the book, Neelima said that it consists of letters she wrote to her mother from the Everest. By compiling the letters into a book and publishing it, she is sharing and gifting the experience of climbing the Everest with everyone. 

The book will give the readers a virtual climb experience to the Everest. Book is available for purchase on amazon.in and Flipkart. Readers can also get from a bookstore near them.
