Vodafone rolls out Rs 139 prepaid plan after Jio's Rs 149 data plan

Telecom service provider Vodafone has rolled out a new plan for its prepaid user in India. The plan which costs Rs 139 will offer both data and call benefits. The telecom operator already has plans in this range of Rs 129, Rs 159 and Rs 169.

Vodafone Rs 139 Plan

According to the Vodafone India website, the prepaid Vodafone Rs 139 plan offers unlimited local, STD as well as domestic roaming calls. In terms of data, the plan includes a total of 2GB of 4G / 3G data. The plan also includes a subscription to Vodafone Play. All these services come with a validity period of 28 days.

Reliance Jio Rs 149 Plan

In the same price category, Reliance Jio also has a prepaid plan of Rs 149. This plan also comes with a validity period of 28 days and offers unlimited calls to local, STD and national numbers. In terms of data, this plan, however, comes with daily data of 1.5GB 4G data, which makes the total data benefits of 42GB.

Vodafone Rs 129 plan

Under this Rs 129 plan, Vodafone offers unlimited calls with 100 SMS per day. The plan does not include any FUP limit for calls, which means that users need not worry about the 250-minute limit for daily calls. The plan also offers 1.5GB for the 28-day period.

Recently, both Airtel and Vodafone have also reviewed their existing pre-paid plan for Rs 169. As reported by Telecom Talk, both Airtel and Vodafone have renewed their Rs 169 plan for their prepaid users. After the review, Vodafone offers 1 GB of data per day according to plan Rs 169. The plan is valid for 28 days and subscribers get the total data of 28 GB.

Similarly, Airtel also offers data of 1GB per day under the same plan. Previously, Airtel used to offer 1 GB data for the full 28 days and now has set the daily limit at 1 GB. Along with the data, the service providers offer unlimited national and local calls with 100 SMS per day according to the plan.
