Vodafone, Airtel and BSNL offer free Amazon Prime membership
Amazon's Prime Day sale is almost here. The biggest annual sale is exclusively for the company's Prime members. This year Amazon Prime Day sale will run simultaneously across 18 countries across the globe. Other than shopping in Amazon Prime day sale, Prime membership also offers members other benefits. These benefits include free, fast delivery on eligible items, unlimited streaming of the latest TV shows and movies, early/exclusive access to striking deals and much more.
Amazon Prime membership ranges from Rs 129 per month to Rs 999 per year. The Indian telecom industry is also offering Amazon Prime membership free thanks to the price war going in. Telecom service providers Vodafone, Airtel and BSNL, offer free Amazon Prime membership to their subscribers under these plans.
Airtel Subscribers
Airtel is offering free one-year Amazon Prime membership to its prepaid, postpaid as well as broadband customers as part of Airtel Thanks. All customers on unlimited monthly prepaid recharge packs of Rs 299, all Infinity Postpaid customers (except add-on connections and corporate plans) of Rs 499, 749, 999 and 1599 and above; and broadband plans of Rs 1099 and above (except corporate plans customers) are eligible for free Amazon Prime membership.
To avail this offer Airtel customers either need to download Airtel Thanks app or upgrade their existing Airtel app to the latest version and click on the Airtel Thanks banner.
BSNL Subscribers
BSNL is also offering one-year Amazon Prime free to its customers. The offer is available for customers on Rs 399 and above mobile postpaid plans and Rs 745 and above landline postpaid plans. While availing this offer subscriber's postpaid plan should be "Active". This free offer is not available for BSNL service numbers.
To get the offer, BSNL users need to go to www.portal.bsnl.in and click on the Amazon Prime offer banner displayed on the home page. This will direct them to an authentication page where they need to enter eligible BSNL number and generate an OTP. Activate the offer by entering Amazon login details once authentication is done. In case you don't have an account create an Amazon account.
Vodafone Subscribers
Vodafone too offers a free one-year subscription of Amazon Prime membership to Vodafone Red Postpaid customers. It's available at tariff plans of Rs 399 and above. After Vodafone customers choose any of these plans, they need to download the Vodafone Play app from their respective app stores (Google Play or Apple App Store). Later they should click on the promotion displayed on the home page to complete the sign-up process.
