10 arrested for travelling in ladies compartment in Hyderabad metro

Ten people who were caught for travelling in ladies compartment in Hyderabad metro rail last month have been arrested by the Rachakonda SHE teams.

The arrested were counselled and handed over to Metro Rail authorities who imposed fines on them and let off later, said a police officer adding that these were found travelling in the ladies compartment when the SHE teams took the metro.

In September, 40 people including 12 minors were caught by the SHE teams for harassing women.
