2 forest beat officers go missing in river in Asifabad

Two forest beat officers have gone missing in Pranahitha river on Sunday here at Komaram Bheem-Asifabad district. The officers are identified as Suresh and Balakrishna.

As many as six people including the forest beat officers fell into the river while travelling to Chinthamanepalli from Aheri in Maharashtra. However, four of them managed to rescue themselves from the water.

The officers are yet to be traced. A case has been registered by the police.
