3 buffaloes killed due to lightning in Narayanpet

Narayanpet: Three buffaloes of a farmer were killed on the spot when lightning struck them in Mogalemadaka village of Damargidda mandal in Narayanpet district on Friday.

As the monsoon showers began in the late evening touching many parts of erstwhile Mahbubnagar, lightning and thunderbolts struck at many places. With three of his buffaloes dead, farmer Kavali Chennappa has incurred over Rs 1.5 lakh loss. He urged the government to come to his rescue.
