3-year-old boy slips from first floor of theatre, dies in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a three-year-old boy died after falling from the first floor of a theatre at Abids here on Sunday.

According to Abids police, the boy identified as Pruthwi alias Kaparshi Dutta. Venkat Pavan Kumar who lives in Red Hills in Nampally along with his wife Shireesha and two children on Sunday evening went to a popular theatre at Abids to watch a movie.

During the intermission, the parents along with two children came out to buy some snacks.

The three-year-old boy slipped from the first floor and he suffered head injury. He was rushed to a private hospital. He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment, the police said.

Alleging the poor security at the theatre, the victim's father Pawan Kumar lodged a complaint with the police, demanding stringent action against the guilty.
