4 of a Telugu family found dead in US

Hyderabad: Four members of a Telugu family were found dead inside their West Des Moines home in the United States, Iowa police said on Saturday. All four had apparent gunshot wounds.

The officers of the West Des Moines Police department identified the bodies as Sunkara Chandrasekhar (44), Lavanya (41), two boys of age 15 and 10 years.

The local police said they all died of apparent gunshot wounds and said postmortem report will determine the exact cause of death.

They further said that other family members including two adults and two children were living in the house as guests along with the four deceased persons.

Based on the complaint of one of the family members, the police registered a case and are investigating. The police came to the conclusion on the primary and technical evidences that no other person has entered their house before the incident occurs.

According to the reports locals reportedly informed the police that Chandrasekhar was in mental depression and might have killed his wife and two children with the gun and later killed him by committing suicide.
