6 jailed, fined for drunken driving

Sangareddy: Six persons caught during a campaign by the Patancheru Traffic police against drunken driving were on Tuesday sentenced to imprisonment ranging from 10-15 days and were also fined Rs 2,000 each by the Sangareddy District Judge, according to CI Venu Kumar. He appealed to vehicle-riders to avoid driving in a drunken state.
