7 lakh seized during vehicle checking in Dubbaka

Dubbaka: Police seized Rs 7 lakh during vehicle checks conducted at Habsipur junction on Tuesday.

The vehicle checking drive was held as per the directions of CP Joyal Davis in view of the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.

The police seized the money after CH Sridhar of Hyderabad was carrying the money in his car lacking valid proofs.

The police officials advised people to carry money along with valid proofs.

They handed over the money to assistant election returning officer Naveen Kumar.
