78.57% turnout in final phase of polls

Zaheerabad: The final phase of Parishad polls ended peacefully in the district. As much as 78.57 percentage of poll was registered. In this phase, elections for 92 MPTC seats in seven mandals of Zaheerabad Revenue division were held on Tuesday.

Almost 501 polling centers and 219 polling locations were arranged. Zaheerabad MLA Manik Rao exercise his franchise along with his family members in his native place Jharasangam.

In all, 295 MPTC seats in 25 mandals of Sangareddy district. In first two phases, elections for 203 MPTC seats were held. Voting and announcement of results are on May 27th.
