8 students fall sick due to food poisoning

Hyderabad: Eight students taking training under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) at YMCA in Secunderabad were hospitalised due to food poisoning on Monday.

According to the Gopalpuram police, a private organisation has been providing training to around 50 students for three months in nursing and solar courses at YMCA, Secunderabad.

The same organisation also provided food and accommodation to the students at the same place. On Monday, eight students after having lunch had vomiting.

Immediately, the management shifted the students to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. Police also said that doctors informed that all the eight students' condition is better.
