Earlier, the students led by ABVP took out a huge rally in protest against what they called irregularities in the KU especially in regard with the results of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Speaking at the protest, ABVP State secretary Ambala Kiran said that it has become a practice for the varsity to make mistakes especially in the mark sheets. "With the errors rolling in the recent semester results, several students lost their exams.

Even though the students had passed in the revaluation, the results were not reflected in the final mark sheets. The officials are announcing supplementary examination dates even before the announcement of revaluation results," Kiran alleged. He also alleged that the varsity is collecting fee exorbitantly.

He demanded the varsity management to regularise the self finance courses and regularise the fee structure, besides reducing development fee. Senior student leaders Punnam Venu, Sathish, Mahesh, Pasha, Rohit, Ramya, Sindhuja, Naveena and Sujitha were among others present.
