Avoid plastic bags, use jute bags: CCI GM Sanjay Kumar

Adilabad: Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) General Manager Sanjay Kumar told the students to use jute bags instead of plastic bags, speaking at a free jute bags distribution programme at Government Upper Primary School Marathi Medium in Adilabad on Friday.

Sanjay Kumar asked the school children to create awareness among their parents and neighbours not to use plastic bags which are hazardous to the environment. Everyone should feel it as a social responsibility to protect the environment and use eco-friendly jute bags, he added.

Cotton Corporation of India Senior Manager Sachin Shindey, Assistant Manager Phagatiya, SectionOfficer Lakshmi , school staff Devidas , Ritesh, Gopal, Suryakanth, Vaishali, Shruthi, and Kavitha, Soundarya and others were present at the programme.
