Bakrid celebrated with fervour in Nizamabad

Nizamabad/Kamareddy: Muslims in large numbers offered namaz on Bakrid at mosques in Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts on Monday.

Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy wished all the Muslims living across Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts on Bakrid festival. He said Idu'I Zuha symbolises love, fraternity and service to humanity and gave a call to all to commit themselves to the universal values that represent our composite culture.

Reddy offered prayers along with them and embraced all on the occasion.In Banswada, Eid prayers concluded peacefully on Monday morning.Former Minister Shabbir Ali offered Eid prayers in Kamareddy Eidgah.
