Bhupalpally: Down-to-earth District Collector Abdul Azeem

Bhupalpally: It was certainly a windfall for an elderly tribal woman who has been moving from pillar to post seeking old-age pension.

Azmeera Mangamma of Gurrampet village under Bhupalpally mandal had on Wednesday a surprise solace from none other than District Collector Md. Abdul Azeem.

Noticing the septuagenarian sitting gloomily on the steps of his office, the Collector who sat next to her enquired why she was there. Stating that she has been waiting for old-age pension for the last two years, Mangamma urged the Collector to help her.

Moved by the plight of the woman, the Collector immediately who spoke to the DRDO Sumathi ensured the sanction of pension to Mangamma.
