Brave woman fights off robbers

Rangareddy district: A woman braved to resist robbers at Sirimalle Colony in Pedda Mangalaram of Moinabad mandal in the early hours of Friday. According to police, three thieves tried to rob a house, where the woman, Saida Sultana, was alone.

She got alerted and tried to stop them. She fought with them for some time, but finally she was beaten by one thief with a chair. Her shouts alerted the neighbours and when they reached the spot, robbers ran away.

The women received injuries on head and elbow. DCP Prakash Reddy, SOT police visited the spot. The DCP appreciated the woman for her brave act.
