BTech student dies after car rams into median in Hyderabad

A 22-year-old woman was killed after the car in which she was travelling in rammed into a median at Madhapur late on Saturday.

Vinitha, a native of Guntur was pursuing engineering final year at GITAM university in the Hyderabad. According to the police, she was inside the car along with a man who fled the spot after the mishap.

They suspected that the youngster might have driven the car in an inebriated state after finding liquor bottles in the car. Efforts are on to nab the youngster.

The police registered a case and sent the body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem.
